Brian Clepper - May 2020 KIYC Captain of the Month

Congratulations to Brian Clepper for being nominated for KIYC's June Captain of the Month. Brian was nominated by his brother-in-law, John Holzhauser. John's nomination:

"Brian has been boating since he was 8 and started with a small aluminum boat on West Harbor. He and his friends would each take their own boat out and race between pretending to fish.

Brian grew up in Lexington, OH. His family purchased their first lake home across from East Harbor State Park at Harbor Acres. After a few years, they purchased a home on the north bay of Kelleys Island and now he visits Marblehead at his father's newest home, just a few streets over from Schrock's Marina. Kelleys Island is seen with a short walk to the end of the street. Brian gets back to Ohio, Lake Erie and Kelleys as often as he can, usually 4-5 times each year.

Brian currently has a Hurricane deck boat with a home harbor on Lake Wisconsin in Okee, WI. He has hauled his deck boat from Wisconsin to use it on Lake Erie when not using his Dad's Robalo."

Congrats Brian - you will receive one of our new Captain of the Month sweatshirts. John, thanks for Brian's nomination.
